PRESS RELEASE OCT. 25TH 2012 • THE WHETSTONE STUDIO FOR THE ARTS NOVEMBER 2, 2012 • THE NEW GALLERY WALK LISTINGS ARE OUT!
In the Fall Festival Tradition The Whetstone Studio for the Arts is staging a Fall extravaganza in honor of November Gallery Walk showcasing The Festival starts at 2 pm - 8:30. Very child friendly!! Celebrate Fall at Gallery Walk November 2nd at the Whetstone Studio for the Arts! We’ll be outside unless Sandy hits us, in that event we’ll be in one of the studios inside! Snow or shine:) We have Official VERMONT STRONG License plates available, a great Holiday gift!
SECOND FLOOR: Sage Feldman, whose Industrial Tank Installation and Bamboo Mural are seen outside the building, has mounted a wondrous and brilliant grouping of her original oils and is selling Cards in the upstairs hallway. Studio 1, open 2 to 6:00: Twin Vixen Press will be hosting an Open studio. Studio 2, open 2 to 8 pm:
THIRD FLOOR: The Massage Studio with Kim Timlege, BA, LMT is open from 5:30 to 7… . The Stacy Morse Retrospective Exhibit mounted in October is open again for visitors from 5 to 8 pm… . Also! new Whetstone resident in Studio 9: Meaghan Fagley Photography will host an Open Studio from 6 - 8:30 - a photo booth will be set up and will include portrait photography specials in time for Christmas. Special thanks to all who came to September’s wonderful Grand Re-Opening of the Whetstone Studio for the Arts. On October 5, several studios are open for Gallery Walk visitors.

The studio of Eli Burke, M.Ed, MSW, LICSW, Licensed Social Worker and Expressive Arts Therapist, is open from 5:30 to 8 pm for visitors wishing to learn more about these services.

What a wonderful weekend!
Wrapping up an amazing weekend! Today was just beautiful, filled with people enjoying themselves by the river bank, looking at the artworks and listening to the music, eating and drinking! What more can you ask for…. Photos to come! Many, many thanks to DJ Pocket and Sunny Lowdown!!! there was some incredible music played at the Whetstone Studio for the Arts today!!! Thanks to all…..:) it was great.
